This controller seems to work great. Purchased for Christmas for my Son in law.
Took child a bit to figure out set-up, but likes style, design, and grip / feel of controller.
Good, sturdy controller. Mine does not have a light on/off button. Eats batteries, though I recommend having/using rechargables. Biggest complaint is lag in link speed, slight sluggish movement and delays cost lives in MW3, but its spectacular for Minecraft or Netflix. Also, my L2 trigger has softened to the point of being a pressureless hair trigger. Works though.
My Sony wireless controller was broken so I got this one as a replacement since it was 1/2 the price and had the cool camo design my son liked. I will admit that the controller worked well and had a soft feel that we liked and the keys lit up (you can turn that option off to save on power, which we did). However, it takes batteries and it just devours them even with minimal use. We had to change the 3 AAA batteries every 2 or 3 days if we played games. If we were just using the controller to use Netflix on the PS3 the batteries lasted about a week to week and a half. The money I was spending on batteries I could have just applied to another Sony wireless controller. I took this controller back and bought the Sony. I am giving it 2 stars because it DID work well but I can't give a higher rating due to how bad it was on battery usage.
